Hydrogen Pressure Reduction Systems

Hydrogen Pressure Reduction Systems

At the IGPH, we specialise in the design, engineering, manufacture, and supply of hydrogen trailer pressure reduction systems — tailored to meet both standardised needs and bespoke application requirements.

Our integrated systems typically include:

  • Manual or semi-automatic trailer decant stanchions with dynamic earthing or simplified earthing clamp, automatic isolation valve, pressure protection valves, and Back Pressure Maintaining Valves (BPMV)
  • Single or dual stream pressure reduction skids, sized for a variety of flow rates operating through pressures from 500 barg to 350 mbar
  • Integrated or standalone Mass Flow Metering
  • N₂ purging and maintenance connection systems
  • Combined trailer decant and filling modules

Safety First

Working in Hazardous Areas requires more than just compliance — it demands leadership in safety and reliability. Every IGPH project follows a structured Project Safety Lifecycle, including:

  • Formal Competency Profiles for all staff
  • Detailed Design Risk Assessments and Process Reviews
  • Functional safety to IEC 61511 incorporating; HAZOP, LOPA SIL and SRS
  • Certified HAZOP Chairmen and engineers
  • Factory acceptance testing and structured RAMS procedures
  • 360° learning reviews to drive continuous improvement
